Herringbone Wire Weave Tut by snowskin Herringbone Wire Weave Tut by snowskin
Here I want to share what I learned and painstakingly found online on how to wire weave this Herringbone. ( i took 3 hours to search online! )

This is my first tutorial. :) This is for :iconnikolitaniko: who has this never-dying desire to learn more.

I used 0.3mm and 0.8mm but it's up to your preference. I even tried swapping the main 'stem' and wrapping wire's thickness. You could try experimenting and practice more to find out your preference in the thickness of wires. :)

I used polymer clay beads from my site [link] .

Do support me!!! Thanks!

[link] for clay beads!

PS: I was bold in using the Herringbone weave on lentil beads. Most crafters used round beads to use this weave on. For starters, you may want to try using round beads first! Try wire wrapping around the round ones before you embark on other oddly shaped beads!

PSS: Do give a little love by saying 'thank you' or some sort. Best if you would buy some beads from me! I don't really like it when people just learn it off without any expression of gratitude. (keeps looking at the increase number of viewers) :ninja:

Saw some herringbone-wire-wrapped beads a while back and tried them- I like them, they don't like me. Gorgeous tutorial, and this is utterly random, but I love your nails, lol.

This is a nice tutorial.
The front of the Herringbone weave looks very nice (the back is a little messy, but I guess no one is really going to see it..)

I like your bead too. It looks like a piece of candy... like one of those Christmas mints, only purple..
Your fingernails are nice too (I find it horrible difficult to do anything with long finger nails :P)

Very helpful tutorial
Sorry for rambling

Thank you kindly for going to the trouble of publishing this tutorial. I've always been a creatively-minded person, but have also lacked the necessary resources & skills to put a lot of things into practice. You have helped me get one step closer to achieving my goal of being able to create ANYTHING I wish to create (not an unreasonable one LOL )
Much love for your generosity in sharing your skill!
